T/R Ellison - author, photographer, scientist, inventor

A versatile creative, Ellison strives to seamlessly integrate her diverse interests and skills into writing, conveying rich visual textures and confidently exploring novel concepts in medicine and technology. Creativity has always been an integral part of her life in all its manifest forms, from building scenarios to coaching teachers on innovating science for young children. She is the inventor of record on six image-based technology patents designed to support early disease detection.

Dominant themes in her work include juxtaposing dueling dualities and examining challenging ethical and philosophical issues, all while delving into the nuances of the Human experience and condition. Her writing embodies a narrative Gestalt, where the story as a whole transcends the sum of its parts, but where each component part can stand on its own. The 3D-like figure-ground visual illusion she developed combines multiple content-rich images. While seemingly complex, the hyphenation of each image focuses the eye, and mind, on the beauty in the details. Each composition not only conveys her experiences but also encourages viewers to explore their own connections - a process mirrored in her writing.

Ellison has completed her second novel, Strange Fire a contemporary historical story, set in Israel post-Oct7. Crafted around competing End-of-Days prophecies, Strange Fire takes place over three days but spans generations and multiple reincarnations. Ellison notes, "Not all visions and versions of utopia require an apocalyptic prequel."
